Historic Bethesda Home for Boys
Bethesda Home for Boys is the oldest existing
children’s home in the country. Founded in 1740 by The Reverend George
Whitefield, Bethesda is located on the bank of the Moon River on 500 acres
of land originally granted by the King of England for a children’s home. |
