2008 for the Savannah Scottish Games looks to
be a banner year. We will return to a truly marvelous setting, the historic
Bethesda Home for Boys on the banks of the Moon River.
Clan Munro will hold its
Annual General Meeting in conjunction with the Savannah Games. Including
Clan Munro, more than 30 clans are expected to host a clan tent for
genealogical and family research.
Border Collies will astound
you with their sheep and geese herding skills, under the gentle commands of
their owner, Bill Coburn.
Popular entertainment will
include Loch Ness Johnny, Smithfield Fair, and Alex Beaton.
Last year Scottish athletes
set all field records, so there will be great anticipation to see if any of
the 2007 records will be broken.
